How can I create a complex rule for my document that includes state language and
a new legal clause?
Using the AjlRules drag-and-drop tool users can create business rules to change
the granular content -- ranging from single letters to whole paragraphs -- of each
document based on the transaction data. If a transaction is taking place in a particular
state, a rule can ensure the inclusion of state-specific language (and the exclusion
of language omitted by the standards of that state) in the final document. Similarly,
rules can add new legal clauses if certain conditions are matched by the data.

How do I add data and rules to my document?
Data elements can be added to a rule or inserted directly into a document. Rules
are initially created using the AjlRules application, and then inserted directly
into the AjlDoc.

How does the Document Suite work?
All of the Transaction documents can be added to a Suite (ex. Loan Package), then
published using the AjlRules tool. The entire set of transaction documents are encapsulated
into one file. Generating a transaction or updating rules from one of the documents
within an Ajlsuite will update the entire set of documents. The AjlSuite can be
used for document collaboration and quick updates.

Can I change the data in my document and synchronize the change to my data source?
Yes. Data elements such as names, amounts, and terms can be changed directly in
the document. Once the “Synchronize” link is clicked the changes are sent back to
the data source.

What happens when I generate an AjlDoc?
Once the “Generate” link is clicked, an AjlDoc uses the logic of the embedded rules
to determine what text to display. Smart tags are used to pull data elements into
the document from a defined data source.

Do I have to do any programming to create a rule?
Absolutely no programming knowledge is needed to create complex rules using AjlRules.
